Kansas Bar Exam Format

The exam lasts 2 days.  On day 1, 12 state essay questions and 6 Multistate Essay Examination questions are given.  On day 2, the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) is administered.  Click here for more information about AmeriBar's Multistate Bar Review Course.

Kansas Bar Exam Grading Information

Scores from each day are combined.  An applicant must attain a score of 133 to pass.

MPRE Requirements

Kansas Bar Exam MBE Reciprocity

Will accept MBE scores of at least 120 if taken within 13 months of exam and applicant passed that jurisdiction in one sitting.  Will also accept concurrent exam scores of 120 or more.
